Welcome to Spanish class!  I am happy to be your guide on the road to learning a second language.  Whether you're in level I or level V, you'll find there is always something new and fascinating to learn.  Our goal is not only communication, but an understanding of the perspectives of the cultures and communities that speak Spanish.  Throughout our journey, we hope to expand our own worldview and discover new aspects of ourselves and our own language.  A language doesn't exist on its own in a dusty textbook; it is part of the living, evolving, human world.  To understand a language, we must also understand people.
